Starling Murmuration Creates Mesmerising Patterns In European Sky

A murmuration of starlings returning to the Nordics made mesmerising patterns in the sky near the border of Denmark and Germany.
49-year-old Sune Wendelboe wanted to capture the sunset on March 24, when she noticed the flock of birds filling the sky at dusk.
Sune said: “In Spring and Autumn starling murmurations called ‘black sun’ can be seen when huge flocks of starlings seek night resting spots inland and try to avoid attacks from birds of prey.”
