Kind Thai worker dives into sea to help retrieve tourist's iPhone
A kind Thai worker dived into the sea to help retrieve a tourist's iPhone.
The delivery man passed by the commotion on the bridge after a holidaymaker was distressed about dropping the electronic while taking a selfie in Chonburi province, Thailand on March 8.
Without hesitating, he volunteered to dip in the water to find the phone for her.
Footage shows the hero local taking off his work outfit before descending from the bridge. He swam deep into the water and resurfaced multiple times before finding the iPhone 14.
Onlooker Boonyarit Sopa who was on a tourist boat when the incident happened said: 'The woman didn't know what to do. But when the worker learned about what happened, she didn't need to ask for help.
‘The man just said he will take it for her. There are still many good people in the world.'
After returning the phone to the woman, everyone climbed up the bridge again.
Boonyarit added: ‘He is an exceptional man. He went out of his way to assist the tourist.'
