A male peacock dances in front of a female peacock at a scenic spot in Nanning, South China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region, May 8, 2023. In a large lawn, the male peacock took the initiative to walk up to the peahen, raised the long tail screen, and swung it from side to side in front of the peahen. It is understood that male peacocks scramble for cover, either to find a mate or as a defensive act in case of danger.
