A super-calm cook casually carried a burning pan out of the kitchen.

Pratima Tuanjapho turned on the stove to heat the skillet while preparing the ingredients for her omelette in Samut Prakan province, Thailand, on April 27.

But as she took her time chopping vegetables and meat, a grease fire started, which she impressively handled.

CCTV footage shows Pratima keeping her cool amid the blaze that erupted in the kitchen. She even tied the bag of meat closed before walking to the burning pan.

She said: ‘I was mixing my ingredients not far from the stove then the fire started. I was shocked but I know that in cases like that, you need a clear head, or you could get injured.'

Pratima added she took the burning pan in front of the house which was quickly put out.

She said: ‘The pan was hot but my hands were wet from handling the frozen ingredients so I was not hurt. I will be more careful next time.'
