Very first Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon kicks off
This aerial footage shows the 2023 Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon and Half-Marathon taking place today (May 14) in Leeds, England. 10,000 participants take on a brand new route that starts and finishes at Headingley Stadium.
Former Leeds Rhinos player Rob Burrow was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in December 2019. Since then, Rob and his family have campaigned tirelessly to raise awareness and funds to support other families living with MND.
The event will be held in support of the Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease Appeal as well as the MND Association.
The footage was filmed in Adel at the six-mile point of the marathon in accordance with UK law by a registered drone operator.
