Huge Australian Pelicans compete with Gulls for scraps from fishermen cleaning their catch.
Huge Australian Pelicans often hang around fishermen, hoping to be fed fish scraps. This large flock of Australian Pelicans (Pelecanus conspicillatus) were competing with Silver Gulls (Chroicocephalus novaehollandiae) for a share of the scraps from fishermen as they cleaned their catch at the mouth of the Denmark River in southern Western Australia.
