Kind soldier frees pigeon tangled in net inside Thai military camp
A kind soldier freed a pigeon tangled in a net inside a Thai military camp.
Phuttanan Thiamat was washing the dishes in the common kitchen when he noticed the feathered creature twitching on the material outside in Prasert Songkhram Camp in Roi Et province, Thailand on May 4.
The officer checked on the stuck bird and began detangling its wings and legs from the net.
Footage shows Phuttanan reaching up to the net to help the animal in distress. He let the bird wander outside the kitchen after the rescue mission.
He said: ‘I fed it some left over food from the Big Buddha Day gathering. It looked so happy after being saved.'
The bird ate rice and drank water outside the camp's kitchen and flew away after taking some rest.
