The clip recorded on May 13 and provided by the Sub-Directorate for Cyber ​​Crime at the Bali Police shows the small pooch struggling to keep up with its owner.

Local animal protection organisation Sintesia reported the incident to the police and officers questioned the dog owner on May 15.

A health examination of the dog determined that it had suffered muscle injuries in its hind legs, burns on its front paws, and muscle trauma.

The dog is currently being treated in intensive care and the police are still gathering evidence before charging the dog's owner.

These conditions are likely a result of the cruel treatment it endured while being forced to run behind a motorcycle. Currently, the dog is receiving intensive care from the veterinary team.
