A Sumatran Tiger Trapped in a Pig's Trap, Owned by a Resident, in Pasaman Indonesia

The Sumatran tiger is entangled in its head and legs. Residents were told that when they were going to the plantation in the morning, they saw tigers in a helpless state.
Local residents did not dare to immediately let go of the noose that had wrapped around Harima's body. The residents immediately reported to the West Sumatra BKSDA and police to evacuate.
However, the Sumatran tiger could not be saved. The protected animals were immediately evacuated by the police, military, BKSDA and residents to the LubukACTing Police and will be taken to the city of Padang.
Head of BKSDA Ardi Andono confirmed that in Pasaman Regency, there has been a complete occurrence of tigers. Where a tiger caught in a snare.
"We received a report from the LubukACTing police chief, that a tiger was entangled in a wild boar belonging to a resident, then the police and the BKSDA conducted an in-depth investigation," he said.
The BKSDA team arrived at the location, saw the tiger in a weak condition, entangled in the neck and legs. The snares were set up by residents to trap pigs.
"We immediately evacuated the Sumatran tiger by bringing in a Pasaman veterinarian to check on the condition of the Sumatran tiger," he said
The BKSDA immediately evacuated the tiger using a cage, but a few hours later the tiger was declared dead.
"We are evacuating the tiger to the LubukACTing Police Station and will be taken to Padang city for necropsy," he explained.
