ardi added "the tiger will be taken to the animal hospital to Padang city for necropsy or carcass surgery,".

Based on an examination by the West Sumatra Natural Resources Conservation Agency, the Sumatran tiger is female, aged about two years, with a footprint of 7 centimeters.
