According to eyewitnesses, when the diners were dining in the restaurant on the mountain, suddenly flash floods came and flood water flowed through the restaurant area. Many diners are surprised by floodwaters entering the restaurant and they quickly move to avoid potentially dangerous flash floods.
The restaurant was built near a stream in the middle of the mountain and the flash flood happened suddenly. The restaurant owner said that at this time flash floods rarely happen, but the flash flood was quite unexpected at a time when the restaurant was very crowded. Some of the trapped tourists were taken out of the danger zone by restaurant staff.
The flash flood, which lasted for more than 30 minutes, left several areas of the restaurant devastated.
