Drunk British tourist kicked out of McDonald's restaurant on Thai island
This is the bizarre moment a drunk British tourist was kicked out of a Mcdonald's restaurant on a Thai island.
The drunk shirtless holidaymaker caused a scene when he began screaming at staff as he stood at the entrance of the fast food chain in Koh Samui island, Surat Thani province, on April 4.
He appeared to be bellowing at another customer inside the restaurant while security pushed him outside and tried to calm him down.
However, the tourist lost his balance and fell on the stairs, dragging a staffer along with him. A foreign female tourist was caught in the scuffle and fell to the floor when the pair started shoving at each other.
The fight was broken up when bystanders ushered the rampaging Brit away.
Shocked onlooker Wan Noppawit said: 'I just thought it was really strange that people were fighting in McDonald's. What is there to get angry about in a fast-food restaurant?
'I think the tourist was drunk and he was arguing with his girlfriend. They should relax and take it easy, it's just a burger place.'
Tourists have flooded back to the Southeast Asian country this year following the relaxation of travel rules. The influx has seen a surge in bizarre drunken incidents - with recently-legalised cannabis adding to the heady chaos in the semi-developed Siamese frontier.
