A woman threw various items, including potted plants and bedside tables from her hotel room, damaging parked cars in southern China.

Disturbing video filmed in the city of Sanya in Hainan Province on May 14 shows, a woman dropping a massive white box-like object, which plummeted straight down, crashing onto the vehicles parked below.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported.

Eyewitnesses stated that apart from the white box, the soil on the car resulted from earlier flower pots being thrown down.

The vehicle damaged by the falling object belonged to another hotel guest. Both the hotel management and the vehicle owner are currently awaiting the results of the police investigation and compensation procedures.

The incident is currently under investigation, and further actions are being taken to address the situation.

14号晚上7点左右，三亚市吉阳区江南百悦商务大酒店楼上，一名女子突然从酒店房间内陆续抛出盆栽、床头柜等物品，现场视频显示，女子扔下一个巨大的白色箱子一样的物体，物体直直坠下，砸到楼下停放的车辆，所幸没有造成人员伤亡。
15日，该酒店的工作人员表示，当晚警方已将这名高空抛物的旅客带走。被砸的车是属于受害旅客的，目前酒店官方和被砸车辆的车主都在等待警方调查结果和赔偿结果。
现场画面中还显示，该酒店的门前街道上散落着枕头、白色棉被等物品，不少市民在酒店的附近进行围观。扔下的物品砸坏了一辆黑色轿车的挡风玻璃，并且在汽车引擎盖上留下了不少泥土和木板，但据围观的市民称，除了白色箱子外，轿车上的土是之前扔下的花盆留下的。
三亚警方介绍，该事件中，一辆轿车受损，无人员受伤，此事目前正在进一步处理中。
