A boy narrowly escaped injury as a fridge collapsed on him in a hotel in southern China.

CCTV footage filmed in the city of Huizhou in Guangdong Province on May 13 shows, a boy climbing onto the top of a fridge to reach for the drinks placed there.

However, the fridge suddenly toppled over and came crashing down towards him.

Thankfully, the hotel owner sprang into action upon witnessing the perilous scene. With swift reflexes, the owner rushed to the boy's aid, ensuring his safety and rescuing him from harm's way.

Miraculously, the child emerged from the incident unscathed, escaping any significant injuries.
