A female passenger slipped and fell while getting down a moving train in northern India's Uttar Pradesh.

This incident happened at platform 1 of Bareilly railway station on May 18.

CCTV footage captured the moment when the woman slipped and fell while getting down the moving train. The Railway Protection Force (RPF) cop, Constable Charan Singh acted immediately to pull her out of harm's way and into safety. Singh was walking by that area when he noticed the woman slipping and falling off the train and he instantly rushed to her aid, dragging her to the platform. According to a report, the woman was travelling with her husband and child and the trio were supposed to travel from Bareilly to Gorakhpur on general tickets.

But they boarded the wrong train, which led to this accident and should Singh not act in time, a tragedy could have taken place.
