In a heart-stopping turn of events, a group of individuals narrowly escaped a catastrophic landslide while driving through Palapay, Gingoog City, Philippines. The incident occurred on a 26th March, 2023, as @DanteSalang captured the harrowing event on video. Travelling at a moderate speed of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour, their pickup truck suddenly encountered falling stones at the mountainside. Within seconds, a massive landslide ensued, prompting the driver to slam the brakes and swiftly retreat to safety.

As they hastily turned back, the scene unfolded before their eyes, painting a picture of sheer chaos and terror. A house, caught in the landslide's wrath, was swiftly washed away, leaving behind a devastated landscape. Amidst the chaos, a mother desperately clutched her baby and fled from the collapsing dwelling, fear etched on her face. A teenage girl, displaying tremendous courage and resilience, carried an infant in her arms as she sprinted for safety. Children, their innocence shattered by the calamity, sprinted with all their might, desperate to outrun the advancing destruction.
