In a heart-stopping turn of events, a group of individuals narrowly escaped a catastrophic landslide while driving through Palapay, Gingoog City, Philippines. The incident occurred on a 26th March, 2023, as @DanteSalang captured the harrowing event on video. Travelling at a moderate speed of 50 to 60 kilometers per hour, their pickup truck suddenly encountered falling stones at the mountainside. Within seconds, a massive landslide ensued, prompting the driver to slam the brakes and swiftly retreat to safety.

As they hastily turned back, the scene unfolded before their eyes, painting a picture of sheer chaos and terror. A house, caught in the landslide's wrath, was swiftly washed away, leaving behind a devastated landscape. Amidst the chaos, a mother desperately clutched her baby and fled from the collapsing dwelling, fear etched on her face. A teenage girl, displaying tremendous courage and resilience, carried an infant in her arms as she sprinted for safety.
