A skater rolled down a steep street before crashing into the back of a car - with his friends angrily blaming the driver sparking debate about who was in the wrong.

Footage shows the young lad 'hillbombing' down the road then hitting a blue Toyota sedan as it made a turn in San Francisco, California, on May 13.

The skater was flung onto the roof of the vehicle from the force of the collision but was not seriously hurt.

His friend could be heard in the background saying ‘Go fast, no! Why bro, why?'

However, following the crash, the group then confronted the driver. The filmer said: ‘You were f***ing stupid, bro, I literally told you to stop. I told you to stop your car. Why did you have to sneak past bro?

‘You just f***ing almost killed him.'

The car's door was heard opening and closing before a man's voice, presumably from the driver, was heard saying: ‘I'm just turning the corner.'

The skater appeared fine and could move even after the crash, and the driver was heard saying, ‘hey, sorry buddy,' and ‘I apologise'.

In the end, the driver and the skater's friend were seen shaking hands, before the driver asked: ‘Is that a video,' to which the young lad answered ‘yes'.
