'There's a huge party in heaven right now': Actress who plays Tina Turner in London musical pays tribute to late singer
An actress who plays Tina Turner in a musical dedicated her performance to the late singer during a show at Aldwych Theatre in London on May 24.
An emotional Kristina Love, who plays the US singer in "TINA: The Tina Turner Musical", is heard giving a tribute to Tina Turner.
"You have all found yourself in her story, in her music, and we're all here today. So tonight we're gonna party because we know there's a huge party in heaven right now," Love says.
TikTok user @abimusiccc, who filmed the clip, told Newsflare: "OH MY GOD. I went to watch the Tina Turner Musical in London’s Wes tEnd and they announced the devastating news after the interval.
"What a show, the most emotional night, goosebumps, my biggest idol for singing…RIP Tina."
Labelled the "Queen of rock and roll", Tina Turner passed away at her home in Switzerland on May 24 after a lengthy illness from intestinal cancer.
