This is the dramatic moment a car was swept down a road by raging floodwater in the Molina de Segura area of Murcia, Spain.

Viral footage filmed by local hairdresser José Martínez shows the driver of a red vehicle attempting to make it across a road submerged by fast-flowing floodwater.

Martínez is heard saying: "Where are you going? Are you crazy?"

The motorist then tries to cross the road but is swept downhill by the strong current. Other videos emerging on social media appear to show the driver was unharmed.

The hairdresser then comments: "Of course, that was to be expected, who would think of it, of course, where are you going? Listen, but the uncle has been a lynx, he has gone into the alley with his ass. My goodness."

This video was provided by José Martínez's daughter, Roxana, who also tweeted: "The author of the video does not have Twitter but he is José Martínez and he is a genius with the locution, a magician with words, and also, he is my father."

My father lives in Molina de Segura.
He works at a hairdresser's that is on that street he is walking down in the video.
In the video, when he sees the red car he says: "Where are you going? Are you crazy *lost*" (lost is a typical word here hehe)
Once the flood takes him, he says: "Of course, that was to be expected, who would think of it, of course, where are you going? Listen, but the uncle has been a lynx, he has gone into the alley with his ass.. My goodness."
