High temperatures in Cornwall today saw hundreds of bank holiday tourists hit the white sands of Porthminster beach in St Ives, Cornwall to bask in the heat, as the temperature rose to over 21 degrees. Families and couples made the most of the sunshine and blue skies to get out and relax. The town was busy, despite the cost of living crisis. Or maybe because of it!
