Canada: Upper Tantallon Wildfire In Nova Scotia Quickly Spreads, Prompts Evacuations 2
Residents in Upper Tantallon were being evacuated on Sunday, May 28, as a wildfire there continued to spread quickly.
The fast-moving fire prompted emergency alerts by the Nova Scotia’s Department of Natural Resources and Renewables for several residential subdivisions northeast of the fire.
Massive plumes of smoke from the site of the fire can be seen across the Halifax region.
