A teacher was dismissed after she was recorded dragging and kicking a student.

Filmed on May 25, a CCTV camera caught the moment a teacher in Dehua County, Fujian Province, was bumped into by a young girl.

The teacher named Xu is then seen kicking the girl before dragging her down the school's corridor.

Since being fired, Xu has apologised to the student and her parents.

5月25日上午，福建德化县，一名戴口罩的女老师在教室走廊上一边走路一边看手机，旁边一小女生在与同学打招呼时，手似乎轻轻碰到女教师的腹部，这名女教师随即对着小女生的腿部就踢了一脚，紧接着粗暴地抓住其衣领，将其拽进教室。
这名老师的一系列举动引来附近学生惊讶的目光。
5月26日，德化县教育局发布通报称：2023年5月25日，发生“一教师脚踢拉扯学生”事件后，教育局迅速组织开展了调查处置。目前，根据《中小学教师违反职业道德行为处理办法(2018年修订》》等相关规定，已对该编外合同教师许某进行批评教育并解聘。该教师已深刻认识到自己的错误行为，当面向该学生及家长道歉，取得谅解。下一步，我局将引以为戒，举一反三，在全县范围内强化师德师风教育，加强学校内部管理，杜绝类似事件发生。

On May 26, the Dehua County Education Bureau issued a notice saying: On May 25, 2023, after the incident of "a teacher kicking and pulling students" occurred, the Education Bureau quickly organized an investigation and disposal.

At present, according to the "Measures for the Handling of Primary and Secondary School Teachers' Violations of Professional Ethics (Revised in 2018") and other relevant regulations, the non-staff contract teacher Xu has been criticized and educated and dismissed.

The teacher has deeply realized his wrong behavior and faced the student and parents apologized and obtained understanding. In the next step, our bureau will take this as a warning, draw inferences from one instance, strengthen the education of teachers' morality and internal management of the school throughout the county, and prevent similar incidents from happening.
