A speeding vehicle nearly caused a collision as it ploughs through busy traffic and squeezed in between two cars after flipping onto two wheels.

The incident took place on a highway in Foshan, in southeast China's Guangdong Province on the night of May 19.

Dash-cam footage shows the white sedan as it overtakes the driver who is filming so quickly it collides with another vehicle and ends up travelling on its two left wheels.

As the out-of-control vehicle flew in between two cars, it apparently rear-ends the SUV travelling in the adjacent lane.

The hit SUV then veered off into the right-most lane and strikes a third vehicle.

Amazingly, all drivers were able to get out of each other's way before they entered a serious collision.

It is unclear if the police later became involved.
