A swift operation in eastern India's Orissa reunited a distressed female elephant with a group after it was rescued from a well.


The incident took place at Badmal section of Badmal range of Redhakhol division on May 27.


Visuals showed in a heartwarming display of unity and compassion, a female elephant found herself trapped in a deep trench, surrounded by a dedicated team of rescuers and villagers. With unwavering determination, they joined forces to save her from her precarious situation.

Finally, amidst the collective efforts and unwavering support, the magnificent creature triumphed. With a powerful surge of energy, she managed to ascend from the depths of the trench.

According to reports, Pradeep Sethi RO Badmal and team played a major role in the rescue operation.

The operation started around 5 am and it joined the group by 7am.
