The International Space Station ISS was brightly visible flying across the sky on Monday evening (May 29) at 10 pm in Switzerland.

The ISS was visible from within a long path going from France over Switzerland near Geneva and then over Chamonix Mont-Blanc and into Italy.

"I drove one hour from Vétroz , Switzerland's Valais canton , over two mountain passes to reach Chamonix where I filmed the Moon and ISS flying across", explained the person who caught this amazing moment on camera.

He also added: "The ISS takes almost 10 minutes to fly from one horizon to the opposite horizon, but the actual lunar transit lasts less than a second. I used www.transit-finder.com and www.heavens-above.com to find the precise timing and location to see this".
