Acrobatic mishap: high-flying stunt goes wrong
In a heart-stopping incident in Jiangsu Province, East China, a high-altitude acrobatic stunt took a dangerous turn, leading to a colleague's neck injury. The incident, captured on video by @dragondragon on May 18th, 2023, showcased the acrobat's colleague practicing daring maneuvers on a springboard. However, concerns arose among the group as they worried he might miss the sponge pad meant to cushion his fall.
In an attempt to reduce the risk, another colleague quickly placed an extra sponge in front of the acrobat's expected landing site. Fortunately, this movement softened the fall of the acrobat. Everything could have ended much worse.
