A rainbow-coloured umbrella flew into the air as frantic street vendors folded their tents during windy weather.
Footage shows the parasol drifting 50ft into the sky as strong gusts battered a market in Nan province, Thailand, on May 25.
Frantic shop owners and workers raced to dismantle their stalls and secure their products for safety.
Vendor Chamnanwit Tacha said: 'No one saw how the umbrella went up as high as that. We only saw it when it was already high.'
The umbrella then floated about 100ft away from the market into nearby homes.
