Drones strike Moscow residential buildings, causing damage but no serious injuries

In a series of alarming incidents, drones targeted residential buildings in Moscow, Russia on 30th May, 2023 causing damage but fortunately resulting in no serious injuries. The first incident occurred on Profsoyuznaya Street, where a drone crashed into the 16th floor, causing destruction to the building's facade and shattering windows. The second incident took place on Leninsky Prospekt, as a drone penetrated an apartment on the 14th floor but failed to explode. Lastly, on Atlasova Street in New Moscow, a drone collided with a 24-story building, triggering an explosion within the high-rise structure, according to reports from the Ministry of Emergencies cited by TASS. Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin assured the public that although the attacks caused minor damages to the buildings, no individuals were seriously harmed.

Authorities in Moscow are now focusing on investigating the origins and motives behind these incidents.
