A parent was left shocked after her child came home from nursery with a ‘marijuana’ bottle – but it’s not what you think.

Michelle Sadowski was surprised when her three-year-old son, Avery, came home from nursery with a suspicious sticker on his water bottle.

The sticker appeared to be the spitting image of a marijuana leaf.

Michelle and her husband, Zachary, both aged 33, couldn't figure out why a nursery would own such a sticker, and couldn't get any answers out of their son either.

“It took a few moments to wonder if maybe we should flip it upside down,” Michelle, from Toronto, Canada, told NeedToKnow.co.uk.

“Good thing we did since it was a harmless, green, dragonfly sticker!

“Avery actually won’t let us flip the sticker back over so we just need to hope no one thinks we are horrible parents!

“We didn’t call them to complain about anything, it was all in good fun.”

Michelle and Zachary found the ordeal so hilarious they decided to take a video of the bottle and share it on their family TikTok (@thebusiesttoddler).

The video was captioned: “POV: Your child comes home with this sticker from daycare and you [almost] pick up the phone to inquire…”

In the clip, Michelle can be seen holding the water bottle straight up, with a green, glittery sticker on the front.

The sticker seems to look like a marijuana leaf, before she turns the bottle upside down, revealing that it is actually a dragonfly.

The video gathered 4.6 million views, over 408,000 likes, and thousands of comments from amused users.

Lindsey said: “From draggin high to dragonfly.”

Jess added: “The influence of snoop dogg affirmations song.”

Clair commented: “Puff the magic dragonfly.”

“What type of 'nursery' are they going too,” wrote Sarah.

“It’s just a dragon high,” joked Marc.

“Getting lit either way,” said someone else.

Michelle added: “I’m shocked the video went viral, but I’m glad people took as much humour in it as we did.

“However, I just want to emphasise that we didn’t call and complain or inquire to anyone.

“We thought it was hilarious and the sticker is still on his bottle, upside down and all.”
