A hairdresser has gone viral sharing the horrific lice infestation she discovered in a woman's hair – with over 150 eggs living on her scalp.

Rachel Maroun, also known as Lice Lady Rachel, shared a skin-crawling video with her 4.2m TikTok followers, earning 368,700 views at the shocking site.

In a recent clip, the 21-year-old lice technician shows herself treating a woman with long hair, scraping the lice painstakingly from her head.

“150 eggs each is a recipe for a quick infestation,” Rachel says in the video.

“I can tell this client has had lice for a few months.

“Eggs are typically laid really close to the scalp so I can tell that these ha[d] been just growing out with her hair.

“Each louse can lay 150 eggs!”

Rachel, who is from Sydney, Australia, disposes of the lice by popping them with many viewers responding to the satisfying noise.

Corinne said “This made my head ich.” [sic]
“I once had lice for over a year it kept coming back and we tried everything. You don’t know the struggle of lice until you have it,” added Maci.

Another person added: “This made my skin crawl and my head itch.”

Charlotte commented:“I would just shave my hair.”

“please pop like alot all at one PLEASE!! I LOVE THE POPPING” said Monica.

Rachel previously made headlines sharing a six month build up of lice which took nine hours to remove.

“Typically this case would have been better solved in shaving the hair, but for a 12-year-old who basically was a brunette Rapunzel I did not want to take that away from her,” Rachel told http://NeedToKnow.co.uk .

“I spent about three hours over each appointment combing through her hair. Some spots I couldn’t even go near on the first treatment – above her ear was filled with eggs and it had caused to hair to be locked up in a sticky situation.

“We took our time and just went with what she was comfortable with – and we did it.”
