Kind pedestrians helped a driver rescue a kitten stuck under his car.

The scared feline dashed across a busy road and disappeared below a passing white sedan in Bangkok, Thailand, on October 6.

The vehicle's driver then pulled over to save the creature as onlookers approached to help him search for it.

Footage shows the men leaning down to find where the kitten had been hiding. The driver opened the car hood, thinking it might have climbed inside the engine.

But after almost 20 minutes of coaxing the creature, one of the men pulled a white cat out unhurt from under the car.

Onlooker Somkiat Kong Watthanapat said: ‘The kitten looked frightened and ran towards cars. People approached the driver to save the cat together.'

Somkiat added a female onlooker on the other side of the road adopted the kitten.
