HAIR-RAISING video footage reveals the number of extremely close calls one London cyclist has had to endure in just one year.

The video shows cars pulling into the cyclist’s lane with scant regard for his wellbeing, while others don’t see him at all and narrowly miss hitting him.

The footage shows just what a challenge it is to cycle through London and other cyclists don’t escape his ire either, as one woman pulls out right in front of him causing the cameraman to emergency stop.

The clip even manages to catch a black velvet covered Mercedes cruising through London.

The video was filmed by London University facilities assistant Dean Nicholson (43), from the capital, as a means of protecting himself.
