A basketball player hit an insane buzzer-beater half-court shot and won.

When his supporters were almost sure they lost the game, the amazingly talented man stole the ball during a local league in Cagayan de Oro City, the Philippines, on May 7.

Footage shows the player swiftly catching the ball as it was being passed to his opponent before throwing it back to their team's ring.

With only a second left, the shot seemed impossible but he broke the tie when he actually scored.

Spectator Patricia Nicole Jala said: ‘Everyone was shouting, no one believed it was happening. I thought these things happen only in movies.'

The covered court cheered after the unbelievable shot. The awarding ceremony followed, where the player was acknowledged for the impressive feat.
