A female cop rescued the life of a woman who slipped while trying to board a moving train in southern India's Telangana.

This incident happened at Begumpet railway station on May 30.

Visuals from CCTV footage at the station showed the full incident. It seemed to be just like any other normal day at the station with the female Railway Protection Force (RPF) cop, identified as Sanitha, patrolling the platform when suddenly, she was seen running towards her right. In seconds, the female passenger, later identified as Saraswathi, was seen slipping and falling off the train (Lingampalli- Falaknuma Express, 47176). She was dangerously close to the gap between the train and the platform and had Sanita not intervened, the tragedy could have happened. Another man was also seen running behind the woman to stop her from falling.

However fortunately, the woman got back up on her feet after being pulled to safety. Hailing from the Nalgonda district in Telangana, Sanita joined the RPF in 2020 and has helped a lot of passengers so far.
