A resourceful homeowner converted the second floor of his house into a cafe to sell snacks to passing tourists.

The enterprising businessman opened the Kimono Cafe to capitalise on the high foot traffic along Bangkok's Green Bridge right next to his home.

The footbridge connects the Lumpini and Benjakitti parks in the city, and is often plied by tourists.

Footage shows the store decorated with izakaya lanterns, colourful signs, light bulbs, and fluttering streamers offering all sorts of snacks and beverages for pedestrians.

The food and drinks - most of which can be eaten while walking - lined the cafe's cluttered counter.

The Kimono Cafe is open from 3 pm to 9 pm to cater to passers-by walking on the Green Bridge.
