A sudden storm on the evening of June 1st, destroyed this small fruit farm in Northern Thailand. It was the worst storm that the locals had ever seen around here, I felt privileged to be here to witness and record it. One of the most frightening things I saw was a metal cover from a large water jar come hurling passengers passed me. It crashed into a fence close by the gate. The water jar was around the corner at the back of the house, so the wind was able to carry it around the corner at high speed. If this had hit someone, it could have caused injury. Shortly after this the wind knocked over a ladder which crashed down on a clothes line, knocking all the clothes to the ground. As the owner of the farm ran for safety there a plastic basin came crashing behind him and was blown out of the gate and across the road.
There were trees knocked down everywhere in the locality, the local temple also suffered some destructions as tombstones were knocked down by falling trees.
