Driver stops car and picks up weak stray cat stranded in middle of road
A driver stopped her car and picked up a weak stray cat stranded in the middle of the road.
Footage shows the kind woman leaning down about 5ft away from the vehicle before returning to her seat with a sick feline in Songkhla province, Thailand, on May 18.
Her sister Thanyaporn said the creature was barely moving in the middle of the road, so they decided to pull over and check on it.
She said: ‘We thought it could be run over by a car if we didn't help it. She later decided to take it home with us.'
The cat was taken home and fed before it was taken to the veterinarian.
It had a skin disease which was treated with a special shampoo and medicine. Slowly, the cat's appearance improved while staying with the two sisters.
Thanyaporn added: ‘She's very weak but slowly getting better. We haven't given her a name yet.'
