Dashcam captures moment lightning hitting a lamppost in China
Dramatic dashcam footage has emerged from China of the moment a lamppost suffering a lightning strike.
In the footage, captured on a mounted dashboard camera in Hubei Province in September, the extremely bright flash whitens the view in front of the car for a second.
The driver was apparently startled as he broke out swearing at the unexpected moment.
