The Nuit Blanche (White Night) returns to Paris for a magical night in 2023, transforming the City of Light into a vast ephemeral museum. It's a unique opportunity to discover the city from a new angle, in a fun and original way.
The streets of the capital are transformed into an open-air art gallery, inviting art lovers and the curious to stroll from midnight to dawn, to discover the contemporary works of art displayed in the city. A fascinating nocturnal journey not to be missed.
The Léopold Sédar Senghor footbridge, formerly the Solférino footbridge, is one of the emblematic sites to discover during this Nuit Blanche 2023. This majestic structure spanning the Seine, dependent on the Musée d'Orsay and the Jardin des Tuileries, is a true work of art. architectural art. Inaugurated in 1999, it bears the name of Léopold Sédar Senghor, poet, philosopher and first president of Senegal, in tribute to his love for culture and poetry. As you walk around, you will be captivated by its modern and elegant design, a realization of the famous architect Marc Mimram.

Founded in 1999, Plastique Fantastique is an artistic duo based in Berlin, composed of Marco Canevacci and Yena Young. Inspired by the unique circumstances that have made the city a laboratory for temporary spaces, they seek to create striking visual sculptural and complex mechanical works that harness the energy of the air and impart a captivating sense of movement and fluidity.
Their spacious installations allow a dialogue between the architectural materiality and the fluidity of the air. Often very light, these works refer to the idea of transforming, activating and sharing public space in order to modify our perception of the environment and to offer unique audiovisual experiences, injecting additional life into the city and making visible the invisible.
The creation of RINGdeLUXE, a monumental golden inflatable ring encircling the Léopold-Sédar-Senghor footbridge, rests these two banks while evoking the impossible union between the city and its river.
This monumental structure makes it possible to wake up people embodying the city and the Parisian allegories of the goddess City and the god River, reunited during the night.
