Tropical Storm Mawar brought heavy rains with gusty winds across Japan on Friday, June 2, leaving at least one dead, flooding, mudslides, and travel chaos.

The Tokaido Shinkansen suspended its services between Tokyo and Nagoya. Passengers formed long lines at stations as the services resumed on Saturday.
