A high school in Shuozhou, Shanxi Province, has hosted a barbecue for students ahead of their college entrance exams.

Footage from June 7 shows students sitting at tables eating food cooked by teachers at Huairen No. 1 High School.

The reasoning behind the event was to relieve the pressure on students ahead of their potentially life-changing exams.

According to a teacher named Wang at the school, there were about 1,400 teachers and students at the barbecue. The cost of the event was covered by the school.

A school in Shuozhou, Shanxi invites high school seniors to eat barbecue to cheer up

On June 7, the annual national college entrance examination is about to kick off.
On June 4th, in Shuozhou, Shanxi Province, Huairen No. 1 High School invited senior high school students to have a barbecue to cheer them up. The scene was spectacular.

According to teacher Wang from the school, there are about 1,400 teachers and students in total. The cost of the barbecue grills and ingredients used are all borne by the school. The teachers who are in charge of grilling skewers are the teachers with rich barbecue experience in the school.
