Wild python slowly slithers on resident's window before escaping onto back of house
A wild python slowly slithered on a resident's window before escaping onto the back of the house.
The huge 12ft-long serpent was discovered by shocked resident Supamit Worabut as it was about to enter the room of his home in Bangkok, Thailand on May 10.
But as Supamit stayed watching it, the creature seemed to have changed its mind and left.
Footage shows the python taking its time to leave the property. The snake disappeared behind the house, leaving the resident alone.
Supamit said: ‘I couldn't sleep that night because the snake might return. My windows didn't have enough cover on them. I will have to ask someone to install screens for protection.'
The reticulated python is found throughout Southeast Asia, where they live in forests, swamps, canals and even in cities, causing them to come into conflict with humans. The species is one of the world's largest snakes and can eat humans, cats, dogs, birds, rats and other snakes.
