Green tree snake slithers in hut beside sleeping lad
A green tree snake slithered in a hut beside a sleeping lad.
Footage shows the 6ft-long serpent slinking on the bamboo rail next to the dozy youngster in Krabi province, Thailand on May 9.
The creature was startled when the lad woke up and almost fell off the bench. Then as the youngster backed away, the snake tried to climb up the hut's roof and escaped onto trees.
Onlooker Panya Tulyasuk said: ‘I don't know where the snake came from. We were resting when it appeared.'
Green snakes are small to medium-sized nonvenomous snakes that camouflages in bushes and trees.
