CCTV footage captured the bizarre moment a man broke into a pastry shop in Vancouver, Canada, cleaned up and took some selfies.

Footage from May 26 shows the unidentified burglar smash the glass door of @emmairvine's shop named Sweet Something at around 3:30 am.

He then proceeds to use the store's bathroom before cleaning up the shards of glass on the floor.

The video then shows the man making off with a box of cupcakes.

Emma Irvine was amused when she found selfies of the man on the shop's mobile phone.

While the Vancouver Police Department continues its search for the suspect, the pastry chef has decided to let go of the incident, expressing her hope that the nocturnal visitor enjoyed the stolen cupcakes.
