Terrified office workers run from snake trying to enter building
Terrified office workers shrieked in panic as a ferocious snake tried to slither into their office in Thailand.
Footage shows the staff running away from the entrance, where the long serpent battled to wriggle under the door gap of the office in Kamphaeng Phet province on June 7.
They had thrown a waste bin at the snake hoping to drive it away, but it simply kept thrashing around, leaving them trapped inside.
The horrified women let out ear-piercing screams when a gust of wind blew the door slightly ajar.
Building staff later caught the reptile, believed to be a non-venomous rat snake.
Employee Kittinan Saythong said: 'The snake appeared after it had just rained. We were all scared because we didn't know how to handle it. We thought we would be trapped in the office all day.'
Rat snakes are non-venomous snakes that are found in many parts of Asia. They grow up to two meters in length with smooth dark brown scales.
