This video shows the dramatic moment two women on a scooter get stuck between a bus and a tipper lorry while trying to overtake the first vehicle. The accident took place in the Indian city of Kozhikode on June 6 at 7.45 am local time.

The bus CCTV footage, which was sourced from a local police station, shows the scooter trying to slowly move past the bus. Suddenly, a van comes from the opposite direction and crashes into their vehicle.

Luckily, the women only suffered minor injuries. One of them boarded the bus following the accident.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident.
