Carlow, Ireland braces itself for the impact of Storm Oscar as the tail end of the powerful storm, which battered the Canary Islands, makes its way towards the country. Weather expert Alan O'Reilly of Carlow Weather has issued a warning of unsettled conditions and low pressure expected to affect Ireland over the weekend. Showers and thunderstorms are anticipated, adding to the already challenging weather conditions.

@Greensamurai5, a witness to the storm's fury, captured a video on 6th June, 2023 and expressed concern for anyone planning to travel from or currently in Ireland region. Despite the storm's passage over the Canary Islands, it is believed that the worst has not yet arrived in Ireland.
