Chinese woman forces off bus mid-transit by activating emergency button
A woman forced off a bus mid-transit by activating the emergency button in eastern China.
Video filmed in the city of Zaozhuang in Shandong Province on June 8 shows a woman pressing the emergency button and disembarking through the front door before the bus had even reached the designated stop, although the driver attempted to stop her.
Witnesses said the woman thought that place was closer to her destination so she determined to get off the bus there.
According to the company's spokesperson on June 9, the bus driver promptly alerted the authorities by dialling emergency services, prompting swift police intervention.
