STORYLINE:
Activities themed on cultural heritage conservation were held in Acheng District of Harbin, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province on Saturday, which marked this year's Cultural and Natural Heritage Day in China.
At the Jin Shangjing History Museum, artifacts that tell the story of the magnificent ancient capital of the Jin Dynasty (1115-1234) attracted many visitors.
The Jin Dynasty was first established in Huining, the present Acheng District. To revitalize its rich historical heritage, Acheng has been coordinately promoting heritage conservation, archaeological excavation, and cultural tourism.
This year, over 200 activities were held in Heilongjiang Province to celebrate Cultural and Natural Heritage Day.
