Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Alkhorayef said on Sunday that Saudi Arabia is ready to further expand cooperation with China across such sectors as industry and mining.
Speaking to Xinhua on the sideline of the 10th Arab-China Business Conference in Riyadh, the minister noted that China-Arab relations, which are based on common interests, have witnessed steady and significant progress in recent years.

"Saudi Arabia has a good relationship with China. The Saudi side stands ready to further expand cooperation with China in the fields of industry, mining resources, energy and logistics under the strategic framework of Saudi Vision 2030."
The minister explained that the Saudi industrial strategy focuses on making the kingdom a global logistics station and a large industrial zone.
He said Saudi Arabia is ready to seek more cooperation opportunities at the sixth China-Arab States Expo to be held in northwest China's Ningxia this September.

"Saudi Arabia will be the guest of honor at the China-Arab States Expo, which will be held this year in Ningxia. Through this exhibition, we hope to increase communication between the Saudi and Chinese private sectors."
The minister said the kingdom will make full use of its advantageous location and abundant natural resources to create a good investment environment for entrepreneurs from all over the world.
